Tech stocks have outperformed the S&P 500 for almost 20 years, and 40-year veteran strategist Jim Paulsen says that run has made investors complacent. He tells Brooke DiPalma why he sees a fair amount of carnage left for tech and communication stocks, even if the broader S&P 500 holds up better. Paulsen explains why AI spending is booming while the rest of the economy barely grows, why the damage from oil and rate spikes usually comes after they peak, and why the seasonal rally investors expect after the midterms could disappoint this year.
