“Come From Away,” a musical about a small Newfoundland town that embraced nearly 7,000 travelers when their planes were grounded after the Sept. 11 attacks, is playing all over the world, including in Gander, the town where it’s set.
For four summers, the show has been running in a 392-seat theater on Airport Boulevard, down the street from the runways where 38 commercial flights were grounded on that terrifying morning. Our theater reporter, Michael Paulson, went to see the town and the show.
