With AI stocks soaring this year, Viking Global Investors told clients that its conservative position on the sector was a "missed opportunity." The firm's flagship hedge fund gained just 2.6% in the first half of the year, trailing peers with greater AI exposure. And yet, the firm doesn't plan to change course.
