Officials in Lebanon say a hospital in the city of Tyre has been damaged in Israeli airstrikes on nearby buildings, leaving 11 people injured.
Tens of thousands of people have been forced to leave their homes, with an evacuation order in place.
There has also been reports of Israeli strikes in the capital city Beirut, and the US government has urged all Americans to leave Lebanon immediately, following a similar warning for those in Iraq.
The advisory follows recent developments, including a US fighter jet reportedly being shot down over Iran and strikes by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on parts of Beirut.
