President Trump tells CNBC that U.S. military operations in Iran are 'ahead of schedule' President Trump tells CNBC's Joe Kernen that U.S. military operations in Iran are "ahead of schedule" after strikes began Saturday. The joint strikes killed the country's leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and spurred retaliatory strikes across the Middle East. Three U.S. service members have been killed in the operation.
