President Donald Trump, in an interview Wednesday with CNBC, blasted Fed Chair Jerome Powell for his oversight of a $2.5 billion project to renovate the Federal Reserve's headquarters complex in Washington, D.C. The Fed chair last week said that he was under federal criminal investigation in connection with his oversight of the project.
“I could have redone it. I could have fixed it for 25 million bucks. It would have looked beautiful,” the president said.
