President Trump snapped at a reporter last week on Air Force One when she asked him about Jeffrey Epstein. “Quiet!” the president told Catherine Lucey, a reporter for Bloomberg News. “Quiet, piggy.”
A few days later, Trump berated Mary Bruce, an ABC News correspondent, after she asked Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia about the killing of Jamal Khashoggi, the Washington Post columnist, by Saudi agents in 2018.
Karoline Leavitt, the White House press secretary, defended Trump on Thursday during a briefing in the West Wing.
