Images of the immigration crackdowns in Minneapolis and across the U.S. have been compared to those from the country’s wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. The helmets, camouflage and tactical gear all look straight from the battlefield.
Our reporter Thomas Gibbons-Neff, who deployed twice to Afghanistan as a Marine and later was our Kabul bureau chief, examined the battlefield technology that was used for an immigration arrest at a home in Minneapolis. #minneapolis #minnesota
