The New York Times is joining nearly 40 scientists on an expedition to Antarctica’s fastest-melting glaciers. They will travel through some of the roughest seas on the planet to get there. Raymond Zhong, our climate reporter, shared a look inside his survival training before the ship embarks. Raymond and Chang W. Lee, our photographer, will be sharing dispatches throughout the journey as they observe what the researchers learn — and what they face at sea and on the ice. Along the way, they want to hear from you, too. Tap the link above or leave a question for our Climate team in the comments.
