President Trump’s first year of his second term in office has seen much of the federal government transformed. Trump has pushed the limits of executive power by using emergency powers to deploy National Guard troops through American cities, using an arcane law to carry out mass deportations, imposing sweeping tariffs on America’s largest trading partners and more.
WSJ’s Josh Dawsey spoke with White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt to learn more about Trump’s first year in office and how it has differed from his first term.
