Israel has carried out a strike on senior Hamas leaders in Qatar's capital Doha, but it’s unclear whether any of them were killed.
A Hamas official said its negotiating team was targeted in the attack.
Qatar, which has mediated indirect negotiations between Israel and Hamas, calls the attack a “blatant violation” of international law.
A White House official has confirmed to the BBC that the Trump administration was "notified" about the Israeli strike on Doha before it took place.
