Protests over immigration raids in Los Angeles have spread to other US cities, including New York, Chicago, and Milwaukee, with clashes between protesters and law enforcement. LA was under a curfew Tuesday as tensions remain high and the city tries to stop acts of vandalism and looting.
The federal government has expanded its show of force, with the National Guard supporting immigration arrests and the administration invoking the Hobbs Act to allow federal prosecutors to take over criminal cases.
