Square, yet another Silicon Valley company, is revolutionizing the financial industry with its technology. It originally started as a company that helped retailers accept credit cards, but it now provides a full ecosystem of products, which help not just retailers but also consumers thrive in the economy by making commerce affordable and easy.
Where did Square come from? Jack Dorsey was fired from Twitter in 2008 and he was searching for a new business idea. In 2008, he reconnected with a former boss, Jim McKelvey, and the two created Square. Jack Dorsey then took control and has built Square into one of the largest financial companies in the world today. How did he do it?
