Researchers at Hanyang University in South Korea are developing tiny, ant-like robots capable of lifting and transporting objects up to 350 times their weight. Made from epoxy resin embedded with magnetic alloy, these microbots can connect, move, and change shape as a coordinated swarm when exposed to strong magnetic fields. Researchers believe they could one day be used for tasks like delivering medicine, clearing blockages, or even environmental cleanup. While still in early development, these powerful microbots have already demonstrated their ability to carry heavy loads, navigate obstacles, and manipulate tiny organisms.
