FBI latest: “attempted Donald Trump assassination” after shooting at Florida golf course | BBC News The FBI it “is investigating what appears to be an attempted assassination of former President Trump” after a series of shots were fired at Mr Trump’s golf course in Florida. Mr Trump’s campaign team said that the former president is “safe following gunshots in his vicinity.” A person has been detained in connection with an incident at Trump International Golf Club.
